Everbloom

A motion-responsive garden
where movement becomes bloom.

Everbloom is an interactive installation that transforms human movement into a living field of flowers.
The system remembers, responds, and reimagines— turning presence into petals.

INTENT

Everbloom invites the body into a conversation with a digital garden. As people move, flowers grow, drift, and recede-never repeating, yet always remembering.

The project explores themes of memory, trace, and embodiment. Movement isn't just input— it's a gesture that leaves a soft residue, shaping the environment over time. The system holds onto echoes, allowing blooms to linger, fade, and return like recollections.

Built with generative visuals and motion sensing, Everbloom creates an immersive, contemplative space where nature is not observed, but co-created.

KEY DECISIONS

Movement leaves a trace

Rather than instant cause and effect, the system stores motion over time. This temporal memory creates a sense of presence that lingers.

Color responds to intensity

The system maps energy and density to hue, saturation, and bloom behavior. Soft gestures whisper; bold ones ignite the space.

The garden is shared

Multiple people shape the garden together. The system balances chaos and harmony, ensuring each contribution is felt.

Spatial Context

Everbloom lives inside a four-screen room, where projections wrap the viewer in an endless garden. The architecture is minimal so the system— and presence— can lead.

CARRIED FORWARD

Design systems that feel alive— responsive, remembering, and emotionally legible. Technology becomes a medium for embodied connection.
